Yes we're canoeists but having done our fair share of stag and hen do's both as organisers and participants; we really do understand how we can help you make this 'one to remember'.
This package offers a weekend where we provide boats and kit, book your camping, supply and erect your tent, put a nice soft mat in it and feed you on the morning after the big night with a mighty fine breakfast with endless tea. All you'll have to do is paddle, have a laugh with friends, stop off for the odd drink or two and take advantage of the opportunity that being afloat lends itself to; Massive amounts of fun with water
The paddling is pretty gentle, with day one at 12 miles and day 2 at 8miles. You can easily have a first day that starts at 10 and be finished by 6 with a few hours stopping along the way. Day two is structured so that you have options to shorten, just in case anyone has a little too much of the celebration the night before.
Camping is right on the river so you can pull the boats out, chuck your kit in your tent and then you're ready for the night entertainment.
Night time entertainment options in Hurley Village are pubs and fine gastro eating restaurants. These are friendly and accommodating. For more night life and usual Stag / Hen activity Maidenhead is a short taxi ride away and Windsor a little further. Both these towns can cater for pretty much anything and our local knowledge will help you find the right option.
In the morning breakfast is served at the Lock and you are all set for day 2. Marlow is 2 miles down and offers the first emergency pull out. Another 3.5 miles and your at Cookham. Just before Cookham is the Bounty where you can regroup and eat if needed. Cookham offers a second egress option. Then it's 2 more miles to Maidenhead and the take out.
Getting everyone there and home again is simple. Both the start and finish of this special trip are close to local train stations and transport hubs and can be reached cost effectively via taxi.
Nice and easy!
